Solebury Township is abuzz about The Birches at New Hope as construction progresses on the 98,000-square-foot personal care and memory care community, with a grand opening anticipated for fall 2025.

Executive Director Kim Cahill Yannuzzi said, “The construction process has been exciting and, since breaking ground, there has been a great deal of interest and excitement about senior living being available in New Hope.”

The Birches will feature 93 apartments in a comfortable home-like environment and provide as little or as much support as needed to help seniors preserve their independence while offering their families peace of mind.

“Apartments will be available in one-bedroom, studio and companion models in a variety of price ranges,” Yannuzzi said.

Unlike life plan communities, also known as CCRCs, The Birches does not require a buy-in fee, making senior living an affordable option. The monthly rent includes a long list of amenities and services, including 24-hour personal care assistance, three daily meals, a life enrichment program, housekeeping, transportation, maintenance, utilities, and on-site physical and occupational therapies, to name a few.

In the secured memory care neighborhood – Daybreak – seniors with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias will benefit from structured activities based on Positive Approach to Care® methodologies, additionally accessing the same life-enhancing services and wellness programs as those in personal care.

“Our caregivers will receive ongoing training to equip them with highly effective care techniques that allow them to support and assist our residents through their dementia journey, and make meaningful connections that instill happiness and purpose,” Yannuzzi said.
