No vacation plans? No problem. Bucks County is packed with outdoor events this summer, offering plenty of opportunities to get outside and make the most of the season.
From live music festivals to community celebrations and family-friendly attractions, there’s something for everyone this summer in Bucks County.
To help you plan your summer adventures, Metro Philly Suburbs has rounded up some of the can't-miss outdoor events taking place this summer.
Enjoy a fun day of good music and delicious food and drink on Saturday, July 18, between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. at Snipes Farm in Morrisville. Feel free to pack a picnic or choose from the food and drink available for purchase.
Music will include Johnny Rawls, Ryan Hart and the Blue Hearts, Katie Henry, Mikey Junior Band, Cordelia Blue, Jad Tariq, and Dave Orban and the Mojo Gypsies. For more information, click here.
Doylestown Pride Festival will run until Sunday, June 28. This local celebration of diverse sexual orientations and gender identities will include a series of film screenings, drag events, a Pride block party, Loud & Proud Music Day and other fun events. For more information, click here.
Don’t miss New Hope/Lambertville‘s celebration of America’s 250th birthday with patriotic festivities including discussions with the author of the children’s book, 'The Young Federalists,' patriotic portrayals and fireworks over the Delaware River on Friday, July 3. On Saturday, July 4, there will also be live music, educational discussions, a pub crawl and fireworks. The festivities will end with a parade and dragon boat race on Sunday, July 5.

Peddler’s Village in Lahaska has family fun planned throughout the summer. The Sights in Sand: American Road Trip exhibit, with creative sand sculptures, will be displayed all summer long.
On Saturday, July 4, everyone is welcome to come for the Red, White, & Blueberries BBQ Bash starting at 11 a.m. There will be plenty of tasty food and drinks, live music and fun activities to enjoy.
On Aug. 1 and 2, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Peddler’s Village will also be celebrating National Peach Month with its annual Peach Festival. There will be plenty of peach-inspired treats, live entertainment, strolls through the summer gardens and shopping.

Pennsbury Manor, William Penn’s 17th-century country estate, is hosting its Annual Brews & Bites on Saturday, June 27. Enjoy the 43-acre grounds along the Delaware River while sampling delicious brews and food.

The Annual New Hope Automobile Show is back and will be held on Saturday, Aug. 8 and Sunday, Aug. 9. If you love old cars, you won’t want to miss this unique display of antique and classic cars from around the world.

Fonthill Castle in Doylestown, designed by Henry Chapman Mercer between 1908 and 1912, is an eclectic mix of Gothic, Medieval and Byzantine architecture. The castle is open this summer for tours and will be hosting a few special summer events.
Fonthill’s Beer Fest: On Sunday, Aug. 22, at 2 p.m., come to the castle for some local and regional craft beers, live music and delicious food.
Fonthill’s Old Fashioned 4th of July: On Saturday, July 4, starting at noon, the castle will also be hosting some patriotic fun, including games, contests and lots of food.

Right now, Hellerick’s Adventure Farm is celebrating sunflowers with its special Sunflower Days Festival. Explore the fields on foot or on a hayride and don’t forget to take lots of pictures. You will also get a chance to explore the Adventure Farm with over 40 family-friendly activities, including mini golf and silo climbing.

The Middletown Grange Fair in Wrightstown will kick off Wednesday, Aug. 12 through Sunday, Aug. 16.

At the end of summer, don’t miss the Polish-American Festival at Our Lady of Czestochowa in Doylestown. It is the 60th year of the family festival and country fair.
Enjoy a special celebration of Polish culture, heritage and traditions. The Polish-American Festival is scheduled for Sept. 5 to 7, and Sept. 12 and 13.
