The Birches at New Hope to celebrate grand opening

Posted

Over the past few weeks, the region has endured a snowstorm and some of the coldest temperatures of the winter season. Inside The Birches at New Hope, however, warmth and daily life are already thriving among the first group of founding residents to move into the brand-new personal and memory care community.

With a grand opening celebration planned for Saturday, March 21—the day after the official start of spring—the senior living community reflects a timely new beginning. Much like the season itself, the event marks a fresh chapter, commemorating the opening of The Birches and the start of new life-enhancing experiences for residents and their families.

The grand opening promises to be a lively celebration, featuring a colorful and dazzling performance by Bucks County’s only Mummers organization, the Uptown String Band. The group will present elements of its theme, “From Script to Screen,” which won fourth place at the 2026 String Band Spectacular.

Guests will enjoy a festive atmosphere, complete with refreshments prepared by The Birches’ chef, offering a preview of the culinary experiences awaiting residents. Personal tours will also be available, allowing visitors to explore well-appointed apartments and inviting lounge spaces. The grand opening will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. at The Birches, located at 6554 Lower York Road, New Hope. RSVP to Kathryn or Jennifer at 267-714-6858.

The Birches at New Hope is now open and welcoming residents! The community features 62 personal care and 31 memory care apartments, including options for couples and companions. Residency does not require a large buy-in fee, with affordable monthly rent covering various services and amenities, including 24-hour personal care assistance, medication management, three chef-prepared meals daily, activities program, weekly housekeeping and linen service, transportation, maintenance, utilities, and more.
